An End :

All good things must come to an end and such is the case with the journal pages.  Well, at least it was good to me while I regularly updated it!

For the past several months I have hardly thought about it, and when I do, I feel badly knowing I have done nothing to keep the journal current.  For a good amount of my time here in China, I enjoyed sharing my experiences and observations, but things have evolved, and I think I have become so comfortable with my life here that many of the things I used to enjoy sharing and pointing out, are now daily happenings and commonplace.  I no longer experience them and think, "Wow, I gotta put that in my Web journal!"  Now, I process and absorb them for myself and I think this is good because I will always have them for myself until the day I die.  They are no less fascinating or enjoyable, just not, for lacking a better description, as newsworthy.  It is difficult to describe.

Now, I still enjoy taking pictures and will continue to share them at Http://www.pbase.com/finneire  So, please feel free to visit there and see if I have added anything.  Some galleries are China-specific and you might find something of interest. I hope you do!

Finally, I want to thank everyone who sent me emails saying they enjoyed the journals.  I enjoy them to, and they will always stay here.
